Scrum Master (Background in Software Development | Remote)
iubenda is a legal-tech scale-up founded in 2011, now trusted by over 110K clients in the EU, the US, and 100+ more Countries. We are leaders in our industry and operate on a global scale developing and releasing innovative tech solutions.
Our mission is to provide our clients with everything their business needs - to be compliant with legal, local, and regional requirements; so that they can focus on their core product. Recently, we have undertaken a new thrilling adventure, joining forces with team.blue (a worldwide leader in digital enablement). If you're excited to work at a company in a scaling-up environment providing SaaS solutions to ~1M users - and equally important - to join a team of friendly people with a culture based on continuous learning, transparency, and collaboration. Then, you're looking at the right place!
Your mission
We're looking for an enthusiastic Scrum Master to join our team and take full responsibility for supporting the successful delivery of Agile squads' goals and product increments, coordinating the Product, the Engineering, and the Business functions of the company.
You will be reporting to the Chief Product Officer and will be in charge of the following:
- Understanding, not only the due dates, but also iubenda products while having a good grasp of the content of sprint goals, code reviews, QA activities, and pipeline deployment;
- Owning and facilitating Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning and reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives);
- Supervising and monitoring the sprint and the overall squad's productivity to reach software delivery, easing possible blockages, escalating, resolving, and prioritizing dependencies among different teams;
- Acting as a delivery manager by owning the sprint goals delivery, optimizing the team collaboration, and resolving team blockers;
- Collaborating with the whole team, becoming a reliable reference figure for developers to facilitate backlog items analysis and task definition, liaising with the product manager for goal setting, priority setting, and trade-offs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role;
- A Background in Software Development (you will need to actually understand the product and the content of the tasks you will be working on, and to show curiosity for them, to be able to effectively anticipate risks and coordinate delivery);
- Sound knowledge of an Agile methodology, Kanban, and Scrum ceremonies;
- Solid experience with Project Management tools (such as Asana, Linear, Clickup, Trello, Jira);
- Good understanding of online platforms for collaborative software development and deployment (such as Gitlab or Github);
- Full professional proficiency in English;
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Added values
- Previous experience in SaaS scale-up working environments;
- Expertise in software testing, including automated testing, gained through direct contact or being part of QA teams.
