🎯 Mission & Core Purpose

We're looking for an enthusiastic AI Transformation Principal to join our Operations team. By directly reporting to our Chief Operations Officer, your mission will be to successfully integrate the team's workflows with AI. This involves informing, coaching, and enabling people; building workflows, a transformation roadmap; automating processes; and ensuring that AI is in place wherever it can boost the team's performance.
You will not build AI models: this is not an AI developer's job. Instead, you will work across all teams as the principal enabler of our AI transformation.


💼 Key Responsibilities

• Defining, maintaining, and continuously updating an AI roadmap by keeping it aligned to business objectives. Monitoring the evolving landscape of models, frameworks, and tools, and evaluating where the new ones can be applied at iubenda;

• Supporting every team in identifying and adopting the right AI tools, automating processes, and setting up workflows to help people at all levels get comfortable using AI in their work;

• Working closely with each team to understand what their functions specifically need, co-defining the right tools and approach;

• Reporting to the Operations team to co-build and maintain a documentation base covering tools, workflows, guidelines, and best practices. Making it a living resource that is visible and actively used across the whole company.

👤 Your Profile

You have a solid technical background and use AI assiduously. Coaching others comes naturally to you, and you love to show how to use AI to work more efficiently. You are a communicator and know how to explain things clearly, adapt to different audiences, and bring people along, even when they’re skeptical. You’re genuinely curious about how AI is changing the way we work and how to apply it.


💡 Experience & Skills

• Strong expertise in backend development;

• Being familiar with coding, deploying, security, and with technical dynamics in general (not to code, but to assess and advise);

• Assiduous experience with AI tools in a work context (e.g., Claude code, Lovable, Replit);

• Being able to develop a solid roadmap and to run projects from concept definition to production;

• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts in a way that is accessible to non-technical audiences;

• Experience in coaching and in assessing needs and defining priorities;

• Experience in building and thoroughly maintaining documentation;

• Professional proficiency in English.

🌐 Location

At iubenda we believe in remote-first work. While you can work from anywhere in Mauritius, we encourage regular in-person collaboration at our Port Louis office, typically once per week.
This role involves working with the team on CET hours, meaning your schedule will align with this time zone to ensure smooth collaboration.
